Curtain walling allows the design of structures with great creativity and visual lightness with only 50 mm of front seen in the supporting structure.
ECW-50 offers huge flexibility of design, realising contemporary designs which maximize vision areas coupled with the most demanding thermal requirements.
ECW-50 Curtain walling was designed to bear huge load capabilities up to 350 kg (dependant on wind load). The system can accommodate very large glass units. For drainage, there are the options of an aluminium or an advanced plastic pressure plate. The plastic option also incorporates co-extruded gaskets.
ECW-50 has been tested in accordance with the most rigorous current standards passing CWCT test methods for building envelopes 2005 (Sections 5,6,7,9,11,12,15) and BS EN 13050:2011 proving its integrity, making it the ideal choice for the most demanding and exposed sites.
ECW-50 Curtain walling is a thermal efficient system, allowing a glazing range from 6 to 46 mm, even accepting triple glazed units. Additionally, it incorporates high performance insulated units and panels permitting interstitial blinds.
